Well I am typing this from the hospital. Had a getoff over the first of the two tabletops past the finishline. I have a punctured lung, broke 4 ribs, broke left shoulder, and worst of all I have this bruise that is the biggest I have ever seen on my left but cheek and hip. I feel good and will get released tomorrow morning. Now about the track and races. The track was awesome. You couldn't ask for better conditions or track prep. My buddy and copilot Scott milheim went 1-1-1-2 for first overall. Great job. My other buddy and copilot Steve remmen went 10-11 ish in his motos. Had fun and aside from this accident thought the weekend was great. Hope all had a good time. Unfortunately I won't be at this weeks meeting. You guys have fun

Dang Eddie! When I saw you, you looked dazed, but otherwise OK. Man to be walking around all busted up like that is tough. Rest up and heal fast bud. Sorry to hear about the crash.

I agree though, the track was SUPER fun. I absolutely love GH!

Made it home Tuesday night. Thanks to one last shot of morphine and norco pain pills for the ride. Un fortunately I did not get the tube in either my chest or my private parts (kinda bummed on that one as most of the nurses were female and not a one of them looked older then 40 or were really ugly, But that too can be atributed to the morphine I was on). Anyway I am home now barely mobile. My hip is still killing me and the entire left side of my body is now purple and completely swolen. I will try and post pics later. Back to the orthopedic doctors tomorrow for more x-rays. So as it sits broken left scapula, ribs 7-10 broken, left lung punctured and to top it off I got last place for the weekend in all of my motos. Add insult to injury. Congrats on the nominations for the upcoming seasons board members. I wish I could have been at the meeting (love the free food and bench racing). I'll keep you posted on my progress.
