Hey,

I just wanted to let you guys know that Rob was hurt pretty bad today at Argyll. He went down after the landing to the big triple in the middle of the track after the whoops. He suffered a partial collasped left lung and six broken ribs. I was right behind him and he was out for approx. 5 to 8 seconds then came to. He is the hospital now and in stable condition. I drove him to the hospital, and to be honest we both thought it was just a good body slam and some cracked ribs, he did not want to ride in the ambulance. Well I must tell you that after finding out about the lung I kinda crapped my pants, Let's all wish our 2008 champion the best of luck and a speedy recovery. I will do my best to keep all informed of his status.

Huge THANK YOU to Craig Elstins and Bobby D for dropping all your home life stuff and coming to help get his van back home from Argyll and coming to the hospital, You guys once again showed why we all hang out and are good friends... :yourock:

What a bummer for Rob, He had everything pretty much wrapped up, All he had to do was show up to the last four races and claim a repeat,I would not put it past him to show up battered and bruised to claim his TITLES but he needs to heal up . GET WELL ROB....

Ahh man, that sucks big time. But even as bad as it sounds like it could have been much worse. He's lucky to have friends like you, Craig and Bobby to help him out.

Get well soon, from the Sierra Gang.

Thanks Slaney,

Bobby and I were glad to help. Good thing you were there to help get him to the hospital. When I left he was on his way to lala land and had an ugly tube sticking out his side. Rob is one tuff dude, so get well soon Champ.

Sad to hear the news about Cally, he is a great guy and I wish him all the best. We all feel the pain when one of our brothers take a spill.

I thought I saw one of you as I was bringing my son out of the e.r. at Kaiser Walnut Creek. I had my hands full and could not stop. He took a peg to the side of his foot, over diagnosed by the e.m.t. at the track. Was on his bmx bike at home just as the sun set.

Please let him know we wish him a quick recovery and look forward to seeing #1 real soon.
If it wasn't for all the jumps and turns I would be hella fast!
