Jonny, the reason you have not seen a bucket of dirt moved is you can't see the area from any street or roadway. The navy is doing a slow clean up. The only time the government moves fast is when they want money!

Can we tell the Navy that I buried a 5-Dollar Bill on the base? :rotflmao:

I thought I would never say this until I actually raced there, but I loved racing at Carnegie with SDMX. Their scorers are awful but the elevation change and the opportunity to twist the throttle is super fun. Too bad not as many members feel the same as I do. :)

Hollister used to be my favorite track but I really didn't like it when I rode practice on Fri of the National (I couldn't race). It took me a while but I figured out that I didn't like the bumps in the uphill and first turn. You could hold the throttle wide open when those weren't there (at least until the later motos...)

My all-time favorite tracks to race on are Little Okie and Madera Fairgrounds...

Yeah, the Madera Fairgrounds track was awesome. It was the first place that I "checked out" during a race. (must have been the stay at the Holiday Inn the night before...) Fun layout, big, bowl turns, and sweet, sweet dirt!

See?

Hey Steve, thought you'd be happy to hear that we have the race schedule ironed out for the first part of the year and...Carnegie is the season opener! :woohoo: Mark your calendar now for February 7, 2010.

went to clovis a couple weeks ago for my son to play ball and when i passed the race track in madera, the pit's and the track was one big flea market. what a waist of space looked ugly without the track there.
