Gang Bang 2009 @ Argyll is Here!

Postby Martin179b on Mon Oct 26, 2009 11:59 am

Hey OTHG Racers and Riders!

The last race of the year is less than 2-weeks away and we want to go out with a BANG! A Gang Bang actually.

There was discussion of adding a "Winter National" to the schedule, but with many riders winding down for the year, we didn't want to commit folks to another weekend of racing. So instead, we negotiated a Ride/Race weekend at Argyll MX Park in Dixon - Gang Only Ride Day on Saturday, Nov 7th for only $20! AND Sunday is our last race, Gang Only on the 8th. Plus Mike Sexton is throwing in FREE CAMPING!!!

So let's come out and support the tracks that support us, and let’s make the Gang Bang 2009 an event to remember @ Argyll!

Friday, gates open until 10pm for those who want to camp out Friday night (also free camping).

Sat, Nov 7th, Gang-Only ride day @ $20/per rider. 8am to 2pm.

Sun, Nov 8th Gang-Only Race, $10 gate, $35 race. 6am Gate, 8am Practice Start.

Did I hear that people liked the 3-moto format?? Bring your transponders and charge them up! Also, we will have 2010 renewal forms at the race for your renewing pleasure.
And, both chapters have a few transponders left for sale, but not many.

Let’s really show Mike how the Gang can support our local promoter and track operators!

See you guys, gals & kids in November at Argyll!

3-MOTO Format was very cool but I would like to see a lap or two more added to each class. Seeing how smoothly everything went at Lil Oakie. Would one more hour of being at the track on race day be that bad Martin? I know how much you like to sit on your A** on Sunday and watch your 9ners. Did I say that out loud? But think about it from the stand point of someone who would rather be on there bike and at the track :woohoo:

Carson,

I did add more laps to Little Okie. For that, "you're welcome." Relax, you'll get more laps than you can handle at Argyll.

You're right about something, I do like to watch the 9ers play.

BTW- Novice riders typically do more laps.....

Thats the spirit! :beers: This is going to be a fun weekend. Be very careful, after 10:30 p.m. and a belly full of tacos, Martin likes to hunt for harmless lounge chairs! :nyahnyah: Who has the pictures? :shovel:

It wasn't my fault. Whoever put on the Rage Against the Machine (or Chair) is to blame....

Oh, and I might have had a drink or two that night- ooops.

I'm pretty sure Timmy meant to write "I mean YOUR moto finishes"...

But we all know what Martin's response was going to be..."It's him right?"

Yes Martin, this time it is! :word:
