Our 2010 Race Directors and Race Committee are seeking your feedback on what tracks are your favorite tracks to race on. We'll use this information to help guide the 2010 race schedule.

Things to consider are prep, flow of track and layout, is it challenging, elevation changes and soil. The tracks listed are generally within 2 hour drive for most Bay Members.

Write down any other comments you may have to nail down a great 2010 year of racing. I will admit though, the 2009 year of racing and schedule has been stellar.

Cool poll, we will take this info with us, when we lay out the 2010 Race Schedule, with the Sierra guys. We always do this together to ensure that both chapters are happy and we get the best turn-outs at our races.

Couple of notes on local tracks:

Sandhill Ranch: If the Sale of Sandhill becomes a reality, and the track is much improved, we will likely have a few races there.

Metcalf: Many, (Sierra guys incl) have expressed interest in racing there, and with NCO Racing working well with the County, we definitely will shoot for a race or two there. I just hope they get an improved starting gate!

Alameda?: Is this track ever going to happen? Last word is everyone is waiting for the Navy to complete some clean-up work, so the track promoter can move forward. Knowing how fast the government works, this could be a long wait...

No matter where we end up racing, 2010 is going to be a great year.

Thanks for the update, Martin. I, like many others, i'm sure, had questions about those tracks. As much as I like the favorites, I'm also down with doin' some new ones as they come available.

Martin, I will talk to you at Argyll. I agree about Sandhill, if they get a better track owner it will be a great place.

I wanted 2 more pics. I had a great time at a couple tracks that I didn't vote on. I am looking forward to racing next year.

Martin, I agree with Craig if sandhill goes through It would be awesome too have a couple races there the posibilities are endless!! We can only hope.

This is cool! This is my first year to ride these tracks and I really like a lot of them but I have to give props to 408 ... it still kicks my A$$ but every time I have coughed up my cash the track has been tilled watered and ready to ride and while many tracks have been really fun it is, from my experience for practice and race, the best bang for the $. How about a Bay 3 Way, Carnegie, Sandhill, Metcalf.
In regards to a starting gate at Metcalf lets go get in the" way back machine" and use the rubber band starting gate, we had this arrangement for one of our races at Sandhill and it was fun.
Rode out at Carnegie yesterday and even though the hills on the MX track werent open it had a good flow and it was fun, when its prepped and the hills are incorporated in the track layout its an excellant Vet Track.

This is a grate poll, big thanks to all who put it together. I agree with the idea of racing at Sand Hill in the future, I miss racing on that track... And as far as the new track in Alameda, that would be sick! To my dismay, not a bucket of dirt has been moved as of Tuesday 11-3-09.

I was at sandhill yesterday just dreaming of 2010 and envisioning how sick it's going to be when Rodney takes over! I can't wait!
